Well, if you consider that the person responsible for the communications from the City was a former director of the company that implemented the computer system that is part of the crisis.......

As for the claims about the system now being corrupted by bad data in the previous data bases - well, the implementation project was fully aware of the state of the input data right at the very beginning.
 
Just to use some numbers put out there by ANC members.

There are about 1 000 000 rate payers in Johannesburg (this was a number in The Star letters a few days ago)
Only 8% of customers have problems with their accounts.

That's 80 000 people. With a problem, This month.

Let's take February as it has 20 working days (or days where CoJ staff need to go to the office). Fixing the problems means that the city has to solve 4000 a day, or 500 an hour.

From what I understand, there are 15 people dealing with the problems. So each person would have to fix 33.3 problems an hour.
