One of his victims already committed suicide. What if that was your sister, mother? maybe little sister? Nephew? Cousin? ...Damn, just thinking about it is too much.
This guy will still have chances to smile, eat, be happy to some degree in prison. Hell, he might even escape.
Better to just behead him on the spot. No reason to let him live.

I think off with is tottie first
