Article: 'Skelm' DA removes Verwoed statue

As much as I didn't like what Verwoed did, this is not the way for a political party to behave.

You know very well that voters make a party and no amount of wishing will make others see your point of view. In fact, why should they. This is the very essence of democracy.

Rather that then seeing the ANCYL attempting to break it down with hammers (and probably injuring themselves in the process) in broad daylight on live TV whilst singing "kill the boer".
 
In 17 years the ANC were too lazy to remove the statue... the DA did it in one night.
