and yet England cannot win when they keep on 'attracting' so many other nationalities to their shores... tsk tsk
 
Aussies just too good for the poms...too good for any team I guess. Now three have retired. Wonder how that will change Aussie cricket.

Australia are definitely the best Test team in the world right now. They need to be dethroned. I wonder how long it's gonna be for the West Indies to become formidable again.

What do you mean they are the best team right now?

They have been ruling tests for quite a few years now. Possibly the last 4 or 5 years they have stepped up a gear from what was already a really, really good Aussie test team. (under steve waugh)


They are head and shoulders above every one else. No-one even close, no-one.

It would be nice though if there was some tough competition for them. But instead we get teams like the English bingo club getting a drubbing of 5 nil.

Anyway the Aussies will slide back a little due to 4 retirements (quite scary to think that - but they have good back ups), but should continue to dominate tests.

I might just add here that if any other test team suddenly lost 4 key players, they would be up crap creek. But Australias nurtured talent is there, ready, and waiting.....
