This thread is geared toward undergrad science subjects.

Im tutoring in some courses, and the calibre of students leaves much to be desired, maybe its OBE. Be that as it may, perhaps we formites can come together and help those suffering through these courses.

To those that need help, im pretty sure you'l ask your homework questions. Keep in mind, even if i or someone else answers you, its imperative you work thru examples and exercises on your own to strengthen your understanding of the subject matter. Your textbook is your best friend if you want to have an easier ride on varsity, make time for it.

Im a maths (pure) major, i gather Edduck would only be too happy chatting about matters regarding microbiology and such;), and im sure formites specialising in other types of sciences would be happy to oblige. Just ask nicely and display some initiative on your part.

So... let the games begin:)

Are there *any* decent looking girls in 3rd/4th yr math?

Im doing pure maths honours, so nope not specialised. Hope you not too angry about me adding ur name to people who may entertain requests?

What is your position on dihydrogen monoxide? Should it be banned?

Thats all very nice and well, but to get ON TOPIC, this thread is for people who are in need of academic help

/off topic

Physics and Maths do have a lot of flip flops

that fades in comparison with engineers who wear flipflops and boardshorts during the rainy season while a mere cap keeps the cold away! Stel's engineering faculty cafe's called "Plakkies", need i say more?;)

Hi, I am trying to complete an essay and need your expert assistance with these questions, please?

1. Why does matter have mass?

2. What exactly is gravitation? (I already know how it behaves, but I want to know what causes the attraction).

3. Can you please give me a short proof of the Goldbach conjecture, that fits on one line of an A4 page?

4. Please solve the P versus NP problem. Try not to use too many of those mathematical symbols and stuff, if you can.

5. Can you please email me a copy of your solution of the The Riemann hypothesis. I need it by tonight please.

6. This weak force stuff is giving me a headache. Please explain to me how you proved that QCD confines at low energy, with a sketch or diagram, maybe my headache will go away.

7. Everyone knows how to answer the Collatz conjecture; what's yours?

Thanks in advance.
:D

Who came up with the resistor colour codes?

Why did I have to be the OBE Guinea pig?

Sigh u people. Screw you guys im going home.

Good idea Edduck, but it'd wager its easier to draw water from a rock.
