The English metalcore band Asking Alexandria have revealed their SA tour dates.

South Africa, are you ready to see one of the world`s most exciting, ground-breaking and heralded bands rock our shores? Ticket sales at Plankton.Mobi are open for once off shows in Cape Town and Johannesburg. The opening act in both cities is Facing the Gallows.

Dates:

Friday 2nd May at Hillcrest Quarry, Cape Town
Saturday 3rd May at The Expo Centre, Johannesburg

I myself am very excited. I'm also surprised it took me almost a week to hear about it since the announcement.

At R350 pp this definitely worth it.

This is amazing! Sadly none of my friends like metal so they wouldn't want to go. :/

Hopefully this will inspire a larger influx of post-hardcore/metalcore/etc. acts to come to SA.

What I'm hoping for. Apparently I missed Bring Me The Horizon at RAM fest 2012, I never knew...
