Hello everyone,

I’ve developed my web application using ASP.NET Core MVC, but unfortunately, my current ISP doesn’t support .NET hosting. I'm looking for a reliable hosting provider that can run ASP.NET Core in a Linux environment.

If anyone has recommendations or experience with such providers, I’d greatly appreciate your input.

Regards,
Gerald

Specifically Linux?
If so you'll have to use a Linux VPS and just host it yourself, imho. I do that myself as well.

Otherwise :
Hi,
Microsoft has written .NET for linux so you don't need any containers or virtual machines
It does work great as i have used it before.

Bruh, actually read my response.
I'll repeat, you won't find a host that specifically host .net in Linux for you, you'll rent a VPS and install your app yourself.
I am also using it myself.

I will give this company a try.
There prices seem decent

Shout if you need help.
I include a .service file in my .net projects in which I configure them to run as service on Linux (I prefer ubuntu).
Then it's deploy as self-contained so I do not even worry about .net versions on the server and done.

Thanks for the recommendation @kolaval

@carnagelan - if you’re looking for a budget friendly option to test with then try our budget VPS servers

Otherwise these VPS servers provide excellent performance

Thanks man, do i get a cPanel where i can also manage my own DNS if i need to point my mx records to microsoft as i might have my emails only hosted there? How do i transfer my domain over to you?

There is no cPanel license included in those offerings as the VPS servers are provided as is and with the base OS installed, you can purchase a cPanel license from our store if you want or install cPanel and supply your own license.

If you only want dns management then we offer free dns management from within the client service area.

Domain transfers can be ordered from the URL below

Thank you, i have never hosted on a VPS. ones i purchase this. Is everything ready for me to host my website/app? or do i need anything else? my website is geraldstech.co.za which is a new domain i will transfer accross.

Do you have experience with managing a linux os?

VPS servers are provided with the base operating system and you need to connect to the server, install the packages that are required to host your application and manage the VPS.

If not then I suggest taking a look at or .net core hosting packages, these are shared Windows hosting packages specifically setup to allow hosting of .net core applications.

Just keep in mind AH's support policy. They operate only on weekdays and only during business hours. If your site goes down after hours or on weekends, you could be in for a difficult run with your customers. For your own site(s), it will probably suffice.

We’re available after hours how ever delays are to be expected, whereas during regular business hours you can expect a response within 2-5 minutes.
