.aspx Files

actually aspx is extended asp file, created by C#.NET and friends. its an active server page so its meant to be read, processed, and served-up by a windows web server.

.aspx arent anything to do with acrobat, they are streaming media files normally associated with windows media player and the like..

When I try to open .aspx file from SARS, I get a pdf document saying that I need to upgrade to a newer version of Acrobat.

The aspx file maybe has some code to instantiate a pdf handler / file / whatever. Unless its funky new file type have never seen a aspx file read by adobe

I don't think Acrobat reader is installed by default on Ubuntu. You need to install that since the default pdf reader probably isn't able to read that specific file. I was able to complete my returns on Mint without any issues.
