Assistance needed on Adsl problem

Good Day

Yesterday my Internet stopped working. When I restarted my router my adsl account authenticates(I get an ip address and everything) but there's no data transfer. I cannot browse or do anything.

I tried 3 different accounts (Crystal Web, mweb and telkom guest) same thing happens. So it does not seem to be an isp problem. Crystal Web support said there could be a problem with the exchange.

I then phoned telkom and they said everything looks fine from their side. They refreshed my line and still the same thing happened.

Anyone have similar issues. Is this a normal exchange problem or something else?
 
Okay was thinking about a 212 range, but I think that was limited to TI customers.
Have you tried to switch off the router for 30 minutes or so? If it did/does not help, I would suggest to report a line fault despite what Telkom says.

Yes had it switched off. Actually now it doesn't even want to authenticate.. Reported fault yesterday
 
I had the same problem on Tues.
Connected, but no throughput. Bounced back and forth between Afrihost and Web Africa trying to figure it out.
Eventually both failed to authenticate and that was that. Stone dead.
I logged a fault on Telkoms website. By Wed afternoon I was back up again. Technician said something about the exchange.
 
I did a factory reset on my router and everything seems fine now, I have throughput

Very strange problem
 
Same issue here, got IP with no throughput. Went funny on thursday and hasn't come back after many resets/etc. Waiting on support but that could take a while
