I have a little problem.

I recently updated my asus 1201n with new a new BIOS using ASUS's eee pc update.

I did it because the system clock was always wrong and whenever i set it, after a restart , it would display the wrong time and date again.

The new bios seemed to fix the problem but now, occasionally, when i restart the system it takes me to a page which asks me to either run the bios set up with default settings or set it up myself. It hangs on this page till you choose an option.

If i run default settings, the time/date corrupts when windows starts. If i select the set up option myself, it takes me to the bios page which shows all the correct info (correct time and date). However, i always have to select "save and exit" for it to get into windows.

Is there a way i can skip this boot option page and let it used the saved settings automatically and just normally boot into windows without having to do the whole "save and exit" thing?

It does not show this "boot option page" every time i restart or start up. Sometimes it boots in fine, other times it takes me to this boot option page. There does not seem to be an obvious pattern.

confused :(

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
