Asus DSL AC52U - as an AP

SO im getting a new router RB4011, until i get a dedicated AP i would like to use the Asus AC52U as an access point. It does not seem to have the AP mode as a setting as some of the other Asus routers do.

So do i then just disable firewall and dhcp? any other settings i need to consider?

This is exactly what I've done. I'm using an old Asus AC52U as an AP. Just disable NAT, the firewall, the DHCP server, etc. Then make sure the LAN IP address of the router is set to an IP address on the same range as the LAN network setup on the RB4011. Then plug a cable into one of the lan ports of the RB4011 and one of the lan ports of the Asus, and you're good to go.

Thanks bru. This helps. As per the other thread ive now got an NanoHD AP that im going to connect to the mikrotik. Probably remove the ac52u
