ASUS DSL-N12E vs D-Link DSL-G225

Hi,

Which of the following 2 routers/modems are better.The device will be setup in modem/Bridge mode so dont care about the wireless/routing/firewall functionality.Just want it for the adsl performance.note: will not be using VDSL but adsl.Also not worried about the price either.

I can vouch for Asus routers, they're quite good. The one you've picked there is fairly entry-level.

The D-Link looks okay for its specification, but I haven't had great experience with their products, the ones I've had have been flaky.

I'm have used various Asus routers in the past, because I buy one almost every rainy season. They are okay, but some have software issues, and their antennae range is a little limited (depends which model, i only get cheapest ones)
When torrenting over an extended period of time, the Asus routers eventualy freezes, probably down to some memory leak in the firmware (mine was updated.)
I have not experienced this on the DSL-G225 yet and I'm currently using this router on Openserve Fibre.
