Hi Guys,

So I went out an bought an "Asus EA-AC87" access point/media bridge. It arrived yesterday and I set it up as an access point (theres a switch to make it a media bridge or access point). The AP is connected to the main router via an ethernet cable. Its works really well in terms of its range and speed which is blazingly fast.

The issue arises when I am connected to the wifi and it would randomly say on my devices "Internet may not be available". When this occurs, nothing will load in the browser of the device. I do not understand why this occurs as our main router still has internet connectivity.

I really do not want to have to return this item as it seems to be performing well other than the intermittent / random "Internet may not be available" messages which are displayed in the wifi panel of all devices.

If anyone one has some advice on how I could save this issue, I would greatly appreciate it.

Kind Regards
Rob

Have you tried loading the latest firmware onto the router?
