ASUS Eee Pad transformer

I have paid versions of ADW Ex and Launcher Pro and way prefer LP.

I'm also liking LP.

A few annoyances though, it does seem to be more optimized for a phone, I wish I could hide the phone and message icons but it seems they're there for good.

I don't like how it handles resizing widgets, I'd turn that off if I could. Also when it's in resize mode you'd think clicking anywhere would be sufficient but you have to click back or home.

But it is hugely extensive regarding customization, also liking the backup restore option.

If you're using LP for your phone, beautiful widgets goes very nicely with it.

Guys need some information, in terms of using this tab for work, how easy is it to edit or create documents that are easily read / changed on Office 2007?

Polaris Office is pre installed, and can edit and create Office documents.

Any news on when the 3G models will be launched?

Re the phone and message icons.
Long press them for a context menu and change to what you want :)

After further use my tablet is definately snappier. Where i realised it was when touching on the left or right to change home screens(instead of swiping to change homescreens). usually it would be quite jerky so yeah maybe i had a bug or wateva. Theres a huge improvement.

I'm getting mine tomorrow! Cant wait!
All I need now is an Android phone so that I can tether.

Does anyone know who has stock of the dock in Cape Town?

Had my transformer 32gb for a couple of days now and loving it.

That Facebook Asus page is killing me. My posts keep getting deleted because im asking about accessories. What a truly horrible business practice. Im seriously going to go on an anti-transformer/asus campaign of some sort soon. Stupid idiots...

We cant even get chagers for this thing...Dont know why but ive posted 2 questions and 1 comment and they keep deleting it. What they are trying to do is deceive the consumer.
"buy a Trasnformer its great, but dont you ask about service, support or common decency because we are all about pushing units"

Tw@ts

haha fail.

well I think windows mobile has always been fail, from those dredful iMates to the new ones, that don't tether, rofl.

Yeah, though the new UI is pretty cool. It just lacks way behind android atm in terms of functionality. BTW the previews version of WM (6 & 6.5) did allow wifi tethering even before android afaik. I cant even set a static wifi ip on the new windows OS :(.

Im looking into buying a asus eee pad. Any info on best prices and who has the best and fastest dilivery?
Jump shows rampage gaming has the best price. Anyone with experience dealing with them? saw a few posts of people not to happy with them.

I got to tell you, after playing with one and then playing with the Ipad 2 - you cannot compare the quality of the screen and display. IMO the Ipad 2 kicks the ASUS in the teeth, I am just talking about the display and brightness, the sheer crispness of the display

Erm IPad has better colors but Eee Pad is sharper. Both use IPS displays.
Eee = 149 dpi, iPad = 126 dpi
