ASUS motherboard question

Hello again

Getting an ASUS M2N-E AM2 motherboard which says it supports DDR2 ram from 533/667/800 ECC & non ECC now my question is will it work if you put a lower frequency ram for eg. DDR2 400? Cause I doubt they'd list a ram that low since not many people use DDR2 400 so not really sure.

I have an Asus board that uses DDR2 and they listed that it could take DDR2 400, so i think it may not. But you never know.

I read something about how many volts it sends out to RAM which is why this board app has problems with 2gb DDR2 800 because it only puts out something like 1.95v per slot or I dunno (don't know anything about RAM and voltages )
