Asus or TP-Link router?

Looking to upgrade my old Billion to something with more bells and whistles. Here are the two I'm looking at:

TP-Link TD-W8970 Wireless N Gigabit ADSL2+ Modem Router

Or

ASUS DSL-N55U-C1 Dual Band Wireless N600 Modem Router

Or if there's something better in the same price range I'm open to suggestions. It must have gigabit capability though. I have enough junk on my desk and don't want a separate switch or more wires than necessary

Their spec's are wrong. It has Gigabit LAN ports not "4x10/100 switch".

Running two of them (home and office) for about year and a half. Excellent router.

I've been testing the TP-Link Archer C5 AC1200 for the past week and it's a pretty decent unit, not one hint of instability. I'd recommend moving to wireless AC just for the future-proofing aspect. Having AC was the only reason why I picked it up over the N55U.

I'm a big TP-Link fan. Great routers. I have the WD8968N v3.
