Quick Question: I just noticed that some of the features missing from the P8P67 PRO:

1 x Power-on switch
1 x Reset switch

Would these be the connections that connect to the front of the pc which allows you to start and reset?

lol um ya i'm not quite sure what you asking...

There are connections that are built into a case that connect the buttons to the motherboard so that you can power on and reset.. there usually aren't any buttons for that on the mobo...

If you compare the specs on the PRO and with the EVO you'll notice that the PRO has:

Internal I/O Connectors:

1 x USB 3.0/2.0 connector(s) supports additional 2 USB ports (19-pin)
3 x USB 2.0/1.1 connector(s) support additional 6 USB ports
1 x MemOK! Button
4 x SATA 6.0Gb/s connectors (2 x gray; 2 x navy blue)
4 x SATA 3.0Gb/s connectors (blue)
1 x IEEE 1394a connector
1 x CPU Fan connector(s) (4-pin)
2 x Chassis Fan connector(s) (1 x 4-pin; 1 x 3-pin)
1 x Power Fan connector(s) (3-pin)
1 x TPU switch
1 x EPU switch
1 x S/PDIF Out connector
24-pin EATX Power connector
8-pin EATX 12V Power connector
Front panel audio connector
System Panel (Q-Connector)

and amongst other things the EVO has these extra:

1 x Power-on switch
1 x Reset switch

... I would just not like to end up with a system that doesn't have a power and reset button... seems rather strange to leave something like that out?

They're talking about on-mobo switches. Every motherboard has front panel on/off and reset connectors, but on-mobo ones are pretty rare, and generally used for overclocking and testbed stuff.

Dont worry, both will be able to power on and reset. The EVO just has extra buttons on the mobo itself (useful for overclockers)

fantastic thanks cerebus, I rather ask and know what i'm getting myself into :) ... would have been rather odd if they left something so basic out.

Well its only a R200 difference between the two. Go for the Evo then. Also has more capacitors, mosfet cooler, heatpipe.
Now ask yourself whats the difference between the P8P67 and the P8P67 Pro for R300 :P

Sybaratic is currently cheapest on the Asus range {Ye, I've been busy comparing}. The Deluxe is going for R2435.
