I changed my setup from the DSL-2750U to a DSL-2500U modem and Asus router as above.

For some reason I can't connect my work VPN through this router. I have tried to disable the firewall, but it didn't solve the problem.

We use Cisco VPN Client. Any ideas on what I could try?

This may divert from original post but I purchased the same router, and I have another wireless router, and when I connect this router the the hub that connects to my pc it disables the LAN setting of my pc EVERY time I restart my pc. Don't know why the hell it does this, maybe this router is flawed lol. Anyway my 2 sent say....back to original post.

Hi PearlJam,
I would love to have been able to help you but I don't have the Asus router.
Have you checked the settings in the new router to make sure they are the same as the old one?

Regards

Tim

Hi Tim. The Asus are quite a beast in terms of settings, and I am quite useless with networking, etc. I have for now reverted back to the DLink. Will try again sometime in the future when I have more time to play and figure it out.

Thanks

I must admit with pearljam......Asus have complicated setups in terms of their wireless routers (well atleast this 1 in my opinion).
