I tried updating my Asus M2N-Sli Deluxe motherboard's BIOS with the windows app the Asus supplies on the CD. It failed and now my BIOS is corrupted and non of those stupid recovery apps of Asus work.

Does anyone know of a place where I can take my motherboard to get fixed in Port Elizabeth?

first, did you try taking out the cmos battery for 30 mins. let the board reset itself and then try booting again. Those boards sometimes give problems booting immediately after a BIOS update.

can't you try and flash back to the previous bios with a flash drive or does it not even post ?

Asus and support cannot go in the same sentence
So rather try sort out the problem before going there

Also check out their support forums for the various hardware. Alot of the users/mods are very helpful and can give real world advice!

Thanks. That worked! I just left it out the whole night and prayed it would turn on this morning and it did. Was a huge relief.
