ASUS unveils Tinker Board S

Looks like it has the same quad-core 32-bit 1.8GHz CPU as the original Tinker Board.

New features: 16GB on-board flash, power-on pin.
 
Yup, hardly any improvement on the hardware. Last one was already a bit pricey and this one's price is unknown so not holding my breath
 
Can we have another argument about whether it's a Pi competitor? Last one was fun
 
If Asus can make an X86 platform in that form factor, I would be interested.

64-bit isn't everything. I have a Raspberry Pi 3 running a 64-bit kernel and an original 32-bit Tinker Board. The Tinker Board is clocked 50% faster, has twice as much RAM and throughput on the Ethernet is about 10 times as fast.
