Does anyone know where/how I would find a store that stocks these? Preferably brick and mortar, as I am pretty eager to collect today.

I'll be traveling between Sandton and Pretoria South today, so a store in either area or in between would be ideal.

From what googling I've done, most online stores seem to be out of stock, with the exception of importers and bid or buy sellers ( eek )

Esquire in Midrand usually has them in stock, but you need an account to buy there.
 
I have an account, but it seems they don't stock the essence at all.. Will call in and check though
 
I'm contemplating getting the Sennheiser PC360's and trying them out..... but Yoh.... they are pricey! R2400 just for a headset.... (Xense came with PC350's but the 360 is a little bit better ;))
 
Argh! Bidorbuy seller has no stock :(

I have a pair of Sennheiser HD598's, so I really could do with this sound card!
 
unlucky :( sorry can't help. But yes, a soundcard with those beauties makes a huge difference. HD598 - best buy by far!
 
Still looking. Am considering going outside the Asus brand just for a good headphone amp :(
 
What about getting a cheap xonar dg for the moment. I have one and it handles my 80 ohm beyerdynamic dt 770 pros just fine. Still way better than on board or creative stuff and it has a headphone amp.

A good headphone amp is great too. But shop around and take your time

I managed to source one early this morning that will be ready for me to collect tomorrow..

Argh!

Already paid R100+ more than rebeltech.

If only you'd been around yesterday :(
