What happened to the hype around the whole idea to use an ATI card for your display and a secondary nVidia card for PhysX calculations? I read about it somewhere...sounds like an interesting concept, but it looks like the licensing issues were a problem.

Any guys around here that have tried it?

In order to. Do this you have to disable physics on the nvidia card so in short not worth it.
