ATI X300 Super Overclocker Card

I have just upgraded my PC to a AMD 3Ghz etc, and was "given" a Powercolor X300 256MB RAM, to use till I am ready to move onto a better PCI-E Card ...

3000+ 1800Ghz AMD 939
1Ghz RAM
X300 256 MB RAM

I did an initial Futuremark 3D Mark test :1250 ( Core 325 Mhz, Mem 200 Mhz )
Read about overclocking this card so tried it, NO extra cooling, the card is as Standard.
Overclocked it ( Core 510 Mhz, Mem 245 Mhz ) 3D Mark :1853 !
With a little extra effort I reckon I can have it a little higher ...

Clocking normaly works without cooling - we add cooling to keep the card working for longer. ANY OVERCLOCKING you should add better cooling.

I have left it at 510 / 245 , it does not seem to get all that hot, even with its mild heatsink/fan, anything higher and I will get some more heavy duty cooling ...

Its just really interesting how far you can push this here baby, wanna see if I can reliably overclock it to about 550/266 without artifacts ...
