Atlantic Seaboard - Octotel / Cool Ideas Fibre issues

Anyone in Green Point / Seapoint area on Octotel / Cool Ideas been having connectivity issues on their fibre lines?

I signed up in June - the connection has not been great since the start. Had a lot of downtime recently and Cool Ideas keep saying things are in order from their side and that they are escalating the matter to Octotel.
Sorry Cool Ideas, but the service has not been great. I have been mentioning these issues for some time now.
My connection was down most the weekend, all day yesterday and is still off today.
I keep have to revert to using a Cell C data sim which is a lot more reliable than my fibre connection.

I am in Three Anchor Bay - Hill road to be exact.

ISP only has so much control over your connectivity. It sounds like an infrastructure issue so take it up with them, or have Cool Ideas escalate it for you.

They have escalated it to Octotel. Wondering if anyone else in this area is experiencing similar issues.

I can escalate further if you aren't coming right, there was a recent issue with Octotel that was resolved in a day or so but other than that minor outages.

I emailed cisp support at 9:45am yesterday. I have been in and out since then, I have not had a working connection at all since then.
I was not home over the weekend, but my flatmate said that the connection was down the whole weekend.
I haven't had any feedback on the situation since 14:50 yesterday.
would appreciate if you can escalate the matter further.

I am considering Cool Ideas under Vumatel here in Johannesburg. Or do they only operate from Cape Town?

Just to update - internet came back on yesterday evening at 6pm and has been working since.
Someone from Cool Ideas came around to my place this morning to check on things.

Apparently Octotel say everything is fine from their side too.

We have a batch of users where their sessions drop every 3 minutes, Octotel always say there is nothing wrong and all of a sudden the same users no longer disconnect. Remember if it was an issue on our side all Octotel users would be affected at the same time.
