There is an ATM card that has locked up and needs to be reset.
RTS tech to investigate ATM node WWG+1A/P1-7/8/9/10/11/12

.... im guessing watching paint dry would have been more interesting

Thanks for the info Gangstarr! but still i recommend you chew your planning department, 7 exchanges in a row without any load balancing / network redundancy isnt exactly smart.

yeah, we find these reports of good use. Keeps customers infomred and happy to a degree. Thanks for your assistance in making Telkom a wondful friendly and joyful telecom to do business with and communicate with. <--- Actually serious even though some people might think i am joking

Guys, sorry to bother but please chuck out my thread on the the ADSL discussions please, its a SOS cry to anybody who knows anything about latency, please im desperate!

thank you.

LJ Roos.

Yeah

Very good timing Telkom, woke up today with about 20megs of cap left, so queued up everything ive been waiting to download all month and went to varsity. Got home and ive been #@$#$@$ disconnected, and now I am capped. :( Only managed about 30mins of downloading before it went down.

Between Eskoms power failures and Telkoms downtime I havnt been able to download much this year.

Aah an ATM card - one little card and half of cape town goes down (thought I'd been capped!)

Thanks for the info Gangstarr! :)

speaking of smallvile.
we should have episode1 of season 6 floating around here at telkom. ( gota love the fact that since i started working here our lines have not been down once :D )

i think Telkom idea is: milk the old infrastructure for whats it worth. and just keep patching it up rather then upgrading
