Hi Guys, here have been many complaints in the MWEB uncapped ADSL thread of late about gaming issues, but I feel they get lost between the myriad of other general complaints. My purpose for this thread is to have gaming complaints alone section. I think if there is a dedicated thread to highlight the issues, MWEB might take notice and actually start caring about the gamers on their network.
Please describe in detail:
a) Which game you are playing
b) What kind of errors are you experiencing
c) Time of day when errors are more prevalent
d) When did this start
e) Type of account with MWEB
Here are my issues"
a) War Commander - MMORTS game, hosted by www.kixye.com
b) Loss of connection or impossible to connect to game.
c) Anytime of the day when there is a shaping policy in place. Over weekends , say from around 17:00 on a Friday afternoon and during the whole weekend I can connect and play at will without timeouts or disconnects.
d) Been happening for a whole now, but especially in the last two months where it is near impossible for me to get any game time during week hours, unless I try and play between 00:00 - 06:00 am.
e) 10Mbps capped 75GB + 75GB
