Attention Dronkgat.

I actually LOL at these types of posts and personally feel it is the same on both sides. When playing an ally toon you will aways QQ about Hordies and when playing a hordie toon you end up QQ about Allys.

I really used to think that Ally players were all kiddies and recently discovered my old EQ1 guild were all playing Allys. Ontop of that, I have seen guildies go out of their way to attack and kill every Ally insight.

Is it wrong to attack someone of the opposing faction? Surely not as they are the enemy. Corpse camping is a bit nasty I suppose but there are no physical restrictions in game, other than QQing a GM, that prevent you from camping someone.

Yes. i agree. I have played both. There is no difference between the factions, other than the look and feel of things. Both factions will gank the other given the chance. They both like to raid the "lesser" camps (Crossroads and the ally camp in Ashenvale) and criticise each other for it. I have been corpse camped by both. I have known really good raiders and pvp on both sides. Nothing wrong with the slagging though, however some people really have personal problems and really hate the other faction. I pity them. They arnt having fun if they get that worked up at the mere mention of a gnome :)

Nope it wasn't and not going to mention any names either! :p

But all said and done, I do play on a PvP server and that is par for the course. I prefer to leave Allys alone but lets face it, they are the enemy.

My son and I used to setup ambushes. He would find a nice spot in the middle of a road somewhere and /afk. I would hide close by and wait ..... If Ally passed us and left him alone, we'd leave him alone but an AFK warrior in the middle of nowhere is just too tempting for some ppl.

we used to do the same thing as a guild 2 durids and a rogue stealthed, with my hunter afk in the middle of the road

also dropping an explosive trap in the gate of gagetzan and riding off was fun :P

I remember getting ganked and logging on my main to return the favour (I was 40odd and he was 70). Needless to say that an hour later and a severe faction hit with Gadgetzan I eventually logged off. The entire area inside the one gate was covered with bones. I do not think I died so many times in my life.

I miss epic battles like that. Tarren Mill and Southshore 'invasions'. Protecting the Crossroads.

The good old "Pap en Vleis" days.

Guildy levels and gets killed in Hillsbrad Foothills. The person killing him is prob only 5 or 6 levels higher. He /g Saying he is being camped. Like a pack of hungry lions ech and every member online would rain down on the poor guy like bricks. Then while we're all there we raid South Shore and before long it's an Epic Faction vs Faction battle with people from all over the server it getting so bad that it's impossible to move because your FPS drop to like 2 FPS :D

It was infectious as more and more ppl would join in. Sometimes a raiding party would form and we'd go have a bash at Stormwind or IF.

Thats one of the reasons I want to roll an Ally. To experience the other side of the coin so to speak. TBH I have never seen a raid on Org. and have seen around 2 attacks on UC by small groups of well geared Allys.

Dunno, to me, Alliance seem more honorable about PVP. Horde are like bloodthirsty savages :P

On my server, there are more hordies than allies, so we are kinda the underdogs to some extent. But we have some serious PVP players who know their stuff on our side, and it makes it so much more rewarding to stomp horde when the opportunity arises.

I got my "For the Horde" achievement on Monday I think and got my Nice Black bear mount in the mail :p

Since moving to Spinebreaker, there has been a 'drought' when it comes to Allys. They are there, they have to travel in packs and they like to jump solo Hordies. Hit and run tactics as they know that the onslaught of bloodthirsty savages will retaliate.

Nothing honourable about a gnome doing that funny wiggle after he kills you vs a Tauren just sitting on a gnome after he pwns him ....

Since we have some ally 'scum' on this thread (not wanting to 'Cloud' anyones judgement :D ), and due to this thread being way past south already, what ally race would you Ally folks reckon would make the better bubbleboy? Dorf or skHummie?

Hey, someone has to stand up for the Alliance over here. There is so much horde love here it's ridiculous.

Kinda like, look, everyone plays horde so I'm gonna be part of the collective and join them. Individuality ftw!

I have joined the ranks of the Alliance :) Even said hi to Optioncarduser last night. My Dwarf Pala is having plenty fun :p

I might just become all Alliance and retire my Horde chars :D
