Attunement?

Hi, got asked to heal in BRD (I think it was? I got summoned so no idea) and I got this quest as I was going in to collect some kind of fragment to be attuned for molten core?

How hard is it? I also got a few quests to do so anyone looking to put a group together tonight maybe? Killrog alliance side.

No idea where it is though :(

Maybe closer to the weekend? I dunno... not sure what I want to do cause I'm kind of preoccupied with several things now

It's for the Onixia* attunement spelling.

MC is a lvl 60 raid 40 I think. It's easy if you have a nuch of lvl 70's
 
oops never mind, I was to quock, never read what you asked.

The quest is easy but a waist of time, no one ever does MC no more ;)
The attunement is for MC a lvl 60 Raid dungeon
 
Its a lvl 60 raid and it requires 40 lvl 60's or 25 lvl 70's and the loot is not worth the effort :)

Ive tried it 3 times at lvl70 but Ive never finished it
It is pretty cool though and challenging

The reason people did it was for the eppic gear back then, now lvl 58 greens you get in outland already replaces that lvl 60 pre-TBC IMBA gear :D

Some guilds still do it for fun, i know we did a few times. But while you are lvl'ng and your lvl 60 - 62 join the Queue. You might be lucky and some guy started a group or a guild has some shortage. But afaik you don;t need the attunement anymore. I might be wrong though :o

Not exactly

Naxx gear is usable in Kara with no problems
 
Okay so all I need is this fragment thingy to become attuned for MC?

What other attunements can I start doing? I'm level 56 now... should be 58-59 by the weekend if I play every night
 
you can start the BWL attunement

Outside Upper Blackrock Spire instance portal, theres a mob round the side named "Scarshield Quartermaster" who drops http://www.wowhead.com/?item=18987

All you do is start the quest, and clear UBRS :p the orb thingy behind the last boss in UBRS completes the attunement

The only pre-tbc raid worth running is ZG which is easy enough for 5-7 lvl 70s. And its not for the gear its for the Tiger and Raptor mount. And downing the last boss you can get a boe Polymorph Turtle which can sell on the AH for 4000g
 
Worth while attunements are Onyxia! The loot this draggon drops are pathetic :p par from the 18 slot bags that are somewhat usefull ;)
The fun factor doing Onyxia is the key, and it does not take hours to do.

A couple of months ago we got 40 level 70s together and cleared all the level 40 instances in just over 7 hours. Really great experience for people that have not cleared AQ40 or Nax!
We also did MC a few weeks back with 6 people, got a bit chaotic at times, but really fun! Ragnaros went down before the second wave of elementals.

If you want to learn raiding, the best place is Karazhan tbh :D so get to 70! Learning in level 60 dungeons is not gona do you any good since it is way to easy.

ROFL, try 5 lvl 70's.

I still run MC from time to time in case a binding drops.

Not the last boss (Hakkar = last boss), its a fishing event boss, you acquire the lure from Nat Pagle in Dustwallow.

Can 5man it ez :p

Been thru ZG a few times on Raptor mount missions, that can be 3manned np
