ATV 4K ID update

Yesterday I received the message in the settings that I must update my Apple ID. My problem is that nothing happens when I click on the option.

Google suggests that I sign out and back in of iCloud, but that didn’t make a difference. Without updating the warning is that some of my services will not work — one of these is the Kodi app :-(

Any ideas of what I could try? I have restarted etc with no change. Netflix works well so doubt it’s a connection issue.

Trying to avoid as it would mean setting it all up. Easy for the few apps I use but more tricky to get the Kodi going again. But maybe I will have to follow your advice eventually

Have you tried logging into the Apple ID website?

Maybe you just need to verify it or something.
