Dunno about you guys, but there seem to be a lot of cash-flush toons on Twilight's Hammer after the patch. The new dailies (maybe the upcoming badges rewards as well) I think have caused huge spikes in prices on the AH. I sold 20 primal water for 38G each last night, in the space of about 30 mins on the AH. Guys are buying up everything in sight...madness...absolute madness. This morning, the price of primal water was back to it's usual 20-22G.

Is it like this on your server as well?
 
AH on TH is very inflated compared to my previous server.
I'm not complaining too much though because I'm making some good cash with Skinning thanks to the inflation.
What gets my goat though is when some twat with Auctioneer decided to half the price of Knothide Leather and dump 10 stacks on.

Although I run auctioneer, I usually adjust the prices manually. Many people running auctioneer and not adjusting the prices results in the prices being pushed further and further down as everyone tries to undercut each other.


If you have the cash available, simply buyout that "twat's" auctions and repost them at a higher price (if you know it will sell at a higher price).

I made enough money on one of my toons to buy epic flying doing this.
 
Yep, same on Dentarg.

Wanted to buy Primal Mana (which goes for around 15-20g) was on AH for 33g :eek:

Insane I tell you!

I so do hate farming so hope the prices drop :p
 
I've been making a tidy bundle recently selling Arcanite for 20g profit once a day, for no work wotsoeva. Suddenly and without warning the cooldown on transmute no longer exists. Suddenly arcanite is selling for 9g instead of 21g. Though, I suppose if I flood the AH with arcanite I can still make a bundle.

Yeah, I do that on occaison. I'm sitting just shy of 1K gold now but I'm at 67 so I'm trying to be thrifty and save as much as I can to go ballistic when I hit 70.

primals will be in more use once the full unlock for the sunwell has been achieved, I do know there a new enchant for melee and casters that requires 2 x primal water or mana and 2 shards. So stock up!!
 
I've got about 23 LPS sitting idle for just such an occaison.

Ohhh.. That would explain why my primal water sells so quickly lately. I'll be stock piling my transmutes now and not selling at all.

Oh and BTW.. that dumping on the AH is funny as hell. I usually always post things up for 1c less than the lowest bidder (as long as its not stupidly low that is and i'm not trying to make money of the object/matts)

True, I'll go to the AH, and buy in order from lowest to highest. If you have ten items listed 1s lower than anybody else I will snap up those 10 items first :p
