Auction : Would you buy it?

Whoever that moron is I hope he finds some inventive way of removing himself from the gene-pool

ill bet its a dealership that bought it ... one of the VW franchise stores ...

and if it is someone from the public, his other cars better be a bentley, a rolls royce phantom and couple of ferraris like an F430 Scud ... that way the guy has so much money R300k is nothing to him ... but if it some Joe with his Golf GTI that bought this car for that much, he seriously needs his head checked ...

Stupid, not even worth it, its ugly, its a 1.4, its lower spec than the old Velos...
Shame man, stupid buyer.

It only the sticker thats worth the money, im sure Autostyle will have those stickers on sale soon!:p

Agreed.

What they should have done is custom suspension, 2L turbo motor, full leather and other stuff like that to make it special.

Panel beater in PE bought it. Probably to stick on his roof like all the other Panel Beaters do there.

It would have been so nice if just to show VW how $hit people think this car is that no one bid on it at all and it lapsed with the reserve price not being met.

What a piece of garbage, if i had the money I would buy it and burn it on tv, making the announcement that the roads are now safer with one less shiyttigolf on the roads :(

I dunno - they're reliable, reasonably cheap and easy to fix. My wife's has now gone 343000km with no major problems.
