Audi A4 1.8T 2011 model

Hai there...i have a Audi A4 1.8t 2011 model...I had gearbox problems so i decided to put in another gearbox...the original gearbox code is lks and the second hand one i baught has an lkv gearbox code...are thay the same as the same spairs are listed for lkv and lks?...cloning can be done on controle unit from old to new gearbox but if the gearboxes are not the same and ratios are out its not going to work..Audi cant tell me...your knowlage will be apreciated thank u
