Looking at purchasing a 2013 demo model. Car has about 7000 on the clock. What do you guys think about the car and what sort of price would be a good one?

It has the sport pack with 19inch RS rims.

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Depending on what other extras they're giving you, you can drop about R25-30k on the retail price, iow about R460k-470k.

Although I must say, 7000km for a car that's 6 months old as a demo is quite a lot. I also reckon it's been driven hard a lot too (although on that mileage it won't hurt it too much).

I would say go for a slightly older Audi S4 at the same price. You will thank me later.

I don't think the demos sit at the dealer only to be driven by potential - they're given to salespeople to drive home and weekend etc as their company car. I bought a demo with 11,000km on the clock and it was 8 months old

Goes like a rocket, sits on the road like shait on a wool blanket and be ready for a huge tire budget

That is INSANE. :wtf:

Those 19" rims are also 10k extra on top of the Quattro specs.

The minute you drive off the lot the car depreciates c15% - I would shoot for a 10% discount off list (they can always say no)

I purchased an A6 in 2009 with 19" mags not factoring in tyre prices.
Michelin tyres for that size set me back R5,200 per tyre.
Last change I got Toyo sports. Drive feels identical to the Michelin and they cost R2,400 per tyre. Much better.

Tyre size 255/35/19.

Judt a heads up.

So, just an update..I can get this car for R410k.

That includes maintenence plan to 100 000km's.
