Hey guys

i bought a Intel D945GTP board from someone recently... when i got home the guys gave me the wrong drivers cd...
i called him an he said i can come get all his driver cd an try which one works..went to him last night an he wasnt there... i didnt want to wait long so i rather downloaded the driver from the Intel site...

all the driver worked accept for the damn Audio drivers... it starts, then after a while it stops, when i restart it continues... but then it tells me "this systems does not support the driver you are attempting to install" when to the troubleshoot page on the website... thried it... didnt work..
just now i called a friend and he said i should download Realtek drivers...
downloaded that, installed.... well atleast this one installs.....but still no audio... i even checked in the bios to see if the audio isnt turned off for some weird reason... but its enabled...

I give an getting a bit gatvol...

PLEASE HELP

well firstly the best way is to uninstall the drivers again and be connected to the internet.
go to control panel/systems/hardware/device manager..
select and uninstall the audiodrivers and let the internet install the rest..i mean update the drivers via the internet

HD Realtek? Make sure you have the correct connector connected on the motherboard. One is AC97, other is HD-Audio. Most cases comes with 2 connectors - you need to select the right connector for the board.

Uninstall all audio drivers that you installed, make sure you have the UAA driver from Microsoft, then download the latest Realtek driver "High Definition Audio Codecs":
