Sorry, don't know if this is in the right forum..

I use my Samsung BX2450 monitor for playing Xbox 360 on.. It has an audio jack at the back, which I plug my 2.1 speakers in, however the speakers are 5 times louder when I use them on my laptop. They aren't loud at all when they are plugged in the screen, even when I turn them to full blast. The bass is still as loud as it is on the laptop, but the speakers are so soft!

What can I do to make the speakers louder when playing them through the screen? Neither the screen nor the Xbox have volume settings, so you can't make them louder there..

The tv doesn't have an amp is my guess. It only has an amp for its built-in speakers and most probably your sub is active (has built-in amp).

I have the same monitor, volume controls are the up and down arrows, have to press the up arrow first to activate.

But when I press the up arrow, it sets Brightness...
Mine is the LED model

Yes same LED model, you don't get a non LED BX2450. The touch button next to the up arrow brings up brightness, touch the under side of the monitor not the face of it.

I'm touching everywhere around the Up arrow and it always brings up brightness..
