Please look at the following links, they say that it is one of the best headsets they have used for gaming. May I ask where you are getting yours from and for how much?

Ok guys - here it is. Will keep it short - for full reviews: google
Headphones are nice quality plastic with cable that is long and has volume control on cable.
Took a few minutes to get them working, because I couldn't find which out socket on my (SB Live 5.1) souncard to use.
The gaming sound quality is very good, add to this the vibrating base and you've got your money worth. You will hear ambient sounds in game, you never heard before and the positional audio is truly excellent, much better than my 5.1 speaker setup. this is definitely an advantage in online games, esp. CSS.
My only complaint so far is that I have to unplug my speakers to plug in the heaphones - I don't have a headphone jack on the front of my case, and it needs USB too.
Overall I am impressed and feel the money was well spent. I will be spending a lot more time playing CSS - beware dudes

They were friendly and helpful, although took a bit longer that I would have liked ( 1 week from ordering on the website to pickup at post office) But apparently they were away on conference.
I will use them again in the future...
