Augmented reality and Geolocation

I watched an anime show called Eden of the East where a bunch of students develop a program that does this, but it's an open system that allows you to tag people as well. So people were building libraries of information about other people using the Eden system.

This is kind of getting scary that people can know where you are more easily in coming days....

The article doesn't mention AR apps for Symbian phones. What's a good one to use for them? I want one for my Nokia 5800.
I swear I saw one in the Ovi app store but I can't find it now. I don't think it was free either.

Firefox 3.5 and above is location aware. How can I check what position my Firefox is giving out to the various websites that request it?

Edit: Go to maps.google.com and click on the little circle above the person avatar on left side. The little button has flyover text "Find My Location". I can't be located?? I wouldn't mind letting my browser know I am in Cape Town, SA just to make surfing the web a little more relevant but that doesn't seem to be an option.

In 2010 your mobile phone will know where you are and will feed you information based on that data

Just imagine the flood of unwanted SMS etc as you approach a shopping mall:whistle: "???? shop is having or has the following specials" Thanks I cld definitely do without that:cry:
