ahhhh .. so than everyone are cheats, so the game of cricket is ruined.Damn Aussies ! ! so its the beginning of the end for the game of cricket.

yup and the aussies started it :)

in the history books it will read

AUSTRALIA RUINED CRICKET, IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE YOU SAW AN AUSSIE TEAM WHO WOULD CHEAT TO WIN

no i think it will read:

BEFORE THE 2ND Allan Border Vs. Sunil Gavaskar TEST 2008, AUSTRALIA DOMINATED CRICKET FOR ALMOST TWO DECADES. THEY ARE UNBEATABLE. SOUTH AFRICANS ALWAYS HATED AUSTRALIA BECAUSE THEY WERE ALWAYS LOSERS, BUT NOW INDIANS HAVE ALSO GOT IN THE SAME BOAT AS SOUTH AFRICANS. HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF AS THAT BOAT SANK LIKE THE TITANIC.

For me it will read like this: The Umpires again proved hom incompetent they are!

The players are just pushing the rules to the limit it's the officials jobs to implement the rules. Hardly the players fault it they are incompetent.

Anyway would have been a good game had the rain not interrupted. It will be a good cb series 3 good teams.

STEFAN EXPLAIN THIS TO ME

aussie and india had an agreement stating all catch will be called by the fields

the aussies fielders called catchs that dropped just in front of them?

how was that the umpires fault, it was blatant cheating :)

aggg but who cares, they are still the best 50 and 5 day team in the world even when they dont cheat

There is a difference between not walking when you're given not out, and claiming a bounced catch. It would be great if everyone behaved like Gilchrist and walked when they knew they were out, but he was one of a kind.

I would always say to a batsmen never walk... The umpires there for a reason. Batsmen get it bad when they given out on a questionable LBW, dont walk.

If I remember correctly Jonty started the whole walking thing in the 92 world cup, I remember the commentator saying is he stupid!?:p

For me that agreement is BS. There should be no such agreements. It's the umpires job to get decisions right . He should do his job and the players should do theirs. Which is playing the game and trying to win for their team.

problem solved. even though it's considered good sportsmanship to walk when you know you're out, the decision is not for the batsman to make. it's the umpires. there's a reason why there's an umpire. over the last few years, the umpiring standards have been horrific.

I agree, i also find it wierd that both captains agreed to that. Kumble must be kicking himself. But the umpires are the biggest idiots here.
