if you are up to date with current affairs (lol) you would be aware that this sort of happens on most popular beaches around the world, I just thought the response to ban alchohol was interesting, and I'm curious to see the outcome going forward

Lol ass hat. I know the UK has these problems and I have seen it at some beaches in the US.


And I agree...ban alcohol on public beaches.

Here at Strand Beach (ahem, Melkbaai/Milk Bay) there are also restrictions placed on alcohol, yet every December the beach is riddled with waste, empty alcohol/non-alcohol bottles, used condoms, etc. Not only are the visitors, those which abuse, doing their own thing on the public beach, but they intimidate anyone telling them otherwise. New Year’s Day, it is up to us locals to clean up the beach only to be wasted again in the coming days.
