Sounds like good news for Australian telecoms. It would be excellent if SA followed suit. This promotes fair competition, thus greater flexibility and less costs for the consumer.

The Senate has passed heavily debated legislation that would split Telstra's retail and wholesale divisions to make way for the National Broadband Network.
