Authentication error on Android tab

Hi all,

I am having issues with streaming on my Samsung Tab.

I enter via the embedded browser (not chrome), log into SS, click on a stream link, it opens the second stream tab, buffers a bit, then gives me an 'Authenticating......' message and stops.

Anyone knows how to fix ?

Was working fine a week ago and no software changes were made to the tab.

I can confirm this is not just a problem with your Samsung Tab. I use to be able to open the browser on my LG Smart TV, go to the DSTV website and watch the live streams without a problem. This was working up until about two weeks ago. now I also get the "Authenticating" mesage and thats as far as it goes. There is no problem when i access it via my mac tho so very weird...
 
Hmmmm.......intersting, though there was quick fix to this.

I 'know someone that knows somone' at Dstv, let me consult them and i'll post back.

I did receive this reply from SS team:

Thank you for contacting SuperSport Online Support!

With all the security requirements we have we cannot guarantee that flash plug-ins on mobile devices will always work with the encryption we have to add on to our streams.

However we have started the development on our new Android tablet app and we will have live streaming and video highlights available in the app.

Our timelines for this is quite tight and we hope to have it ready by end of July.

Will sit tight patiently.
