Authentication problems Midrand

Hi

Anybody else having authentication problems in Midrand? It started yesterday afternoon. Iburst says its fine, is there anything else I can tell them to check out?
 
Randburg Authentication struggles as well

My sister in law is with iBust in Randburg. She has been having problems since last night.

Helpless desk have recorded messages about problems with base stations etc. Nothing on their incident report (last updated on the 4th June).

Helpless desk tried the external aerial route(sorry, she has one), MTU (correctly set)... still claim there is NO problem and have blamed the router.

Connected directly to laptop, will not authenticate.

Helpless desk then blame her username and password being entered incorrectly.

Helpless desk then STILL claim problem with her... plug the modem into router and MAGICALLY it authenticates.

IBust webpage takes 8 minutes to load. Average speed of 1Kb/s.

Helpless desk still say nothing wrong. 64K cap reason for slow (now 400b/s).

Helpless desk say that nothing to be done because there is no problem!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAArrrrrrgh!

HA so I'm not the only one with the problems... feking helplessnessdesk trying to pin the blame on my router I told him to FEK off either log a second line support call or go fek yourself... needless to say he got the latter option.

Try annoying these ppl, you might just be able to access the internet again: (If they haven't resigned by now!)

Call the call center number (086 142 8778) and ask to speak to one of these individuals and work your way down through the list.

Let me know when I can remove the email addresses...

Why on earth would you want to remove them?

It is not worth calling the helpless desk as they couldn't tell their @rse from their elbow.

The signal is getting worse, the service is non-existent and nobody wants to take responsibility. It seems the only department that works there is their PR department and even they are not up to scratch.

Agreed, however MyADSL forward posts on to google, therefore the amount of spam received on those addresses will eventually force the termination of those addresses...

Both of these are already e-mail black holes.... e-mailed da Costa over a year ago... never ever raised a cheep from that e-mail address.... or from Henry

As are most of the mail addresses of people in positions of management or similar.
