Authentication problems?

Hi

Is anyone else experiencing "Invalid username and password" errors when trying to connect?

I was connected just fine last night and had to reboot my PC. After that, it keeps telling me my account is invalid. I reinstalled the software and registered on that http://10.11.0.10 page and it accepted my details.

The modem dialler won't connect using my account details though.
 
We had that for a couple of hours last night, gave up eventually. This morning, it was happily connected.
 
What time did it connect? I left home at 5:30am and it wouldn't connect :(
 
There was a problem with their authentication server not recognizing disconnects. It's sorted out now afaik.
 
I can imagine :P

I'm not spending any more money on this MyWireless crap than I have to. The second I can get ADSL, then I'll outlay the dosh on a fancy router.

Why wait for ADSL ? Or do you want to go ADSL/Router combo ? Personally I dont like combos. When someone decides one day to provide me with another connectivity option, I'll just unplug MyWi and plug in the new modem, whether its ADSL, BPL, etc
 
Can't get it (ADSL) in my area 'cos the retards lay fibre and haven't installed one of those fancy mini-DSLAM thingies to solve the problem.

In true Sentech fashion, their piece of **** service is down again. I get a "remote computer did not respond" error when trying to connect.

Can't even access their website with ISDN.

:D, eventually they did install one of those thingies in my area. I realised it when the techie had to enter my premises to fix my neighbours ADSL :eek: So....I applied of course......seems ports are a problem and we are in a planning phase :(

Cape Town tower 110 is back up....FINALLY...
not a word on the sentech bulletin board about their service being down for hours...
 
Whats the point in the bulletin board if its not used.......bad for visitors to see all the breaks maybe :confused:

i am very happy with sentech and my cap (128k) and the jojo effect (PTA 116) isnt happening get disconnected maybe once in 2 months when they do SOMETHING too the tower
