Some of us have experienced the signal going up and down. Sometimes the modem disconnects depending on the level of the signal. Happily the Mywireless Application reconnects and I dont know if MySignal Application also reconnects; it probably does.

Sometimes though the signal disappears and Mywireless application eventually gives up the retry(ies). Is there a setting to make the applications (Mywireless/Mysignal) retry forever ?

To those with a powerful Antenna (upwards 18dbi) do you ever get the signal fluctuations that were raised on other threads in this forum. I ask this because I am contemplating buying either an 18dbi or 21dbi at the end of the month to counter the effect of these interruptions of signal.

I have the 8dbi patch antenna installed.

MySignal will try forever [:)]
You can also edit the Registry (see TheRoDent's Tweaks) so the MyWireless app tries forever.
If this happened between 00:00 and 01:00 this morning its because there was a sheduled maintenance.

thanks;

all I need now is auto connect on windows start up; any pointers ?

If you drag a copy of the MySignal icon into your Start - Programs - Startup, then edit its properties, and add the word "Autostart" to its Target then it will auto logon for you [;)]

So your Shortcut target should look like this:
C:\MySignal\MySignal.exe Autostart

Why dont Sentech setup a noticeboard like UUNet and SAIX do where people can check maintainence details etc?
