My client must be one of the most exciting companies to work for in Pretoria (Menlyn). They are in the financial services industry and currently recruiting for a Test Analyst with about 4+ years' experience within an environment using SCRUM as methodology.

Main responsibilities for this role will include, but not limited to
- Participate in all SCRUM ceremonies
- Collaborate closely with business owners to gain a better understanding of what the requirements and expectations are
- Collaborate closely with BA's and making suggestions where system can be improved.
- Assist in the building of automation frameworks and scripting test cases to execute*
- Manual front end functional testing of application(s)
- Carry out exploratory testing to identify any possible issues that might have been overlooked during regression testing and functional testing
- Collaborate closely with developers, identifying, logging, prioritizing and verifying defects in a defect tracking system
- Defect tracking of all defects logged by you
- Executing regression tests in preparation for go-live
Trade skills required and other requirements
- A good understanding of software testing processes and principles
- Strong automated testing skills
- Analytical and logical thinking
- The ability to envision different business scenarios
- Excellent communication
- Planning and time management skills
- Relevant IT degree or diploma
- ISTQB certification will be beneficial
