I'm looking for an automatic car in the price range of R50 000 - R60 000... Obviously second-hand... Anyone know what to look at it, needs to be as new as possible, something like a corolla... But I think that might be pushing it.

Well, if you want as new as possible then that would rule out what I'm getting, which is a 1994 Merc E320. Lots of power and automatic. And luxurious.

I know of a 1999 Corolla that has 92 000Km on it. Genuine with full service history with the dealers with the books.

its the 1.8 GLE Automatic i think.

PM me for the details, I think they want 60k for it.

Goodluck

Just got a Audi Cabriolet 1995 for R55,000. Has done 200,000 km and is spotless. Looks very nice ...

If you are in Cape Town, go ask Eugene Wayne at Wayne Motors. The only 2nd hand car dealer I trust. Voortrekker Road border Maitland/Salt River.

You get a LOT of car if you go 10-15 years. German and full house. Typically R50,000. Cheap to maintain too.

Yup. Managed to find a good one belonging to a very old Oom out in the Free State. Not quite full house, lacks a sunroof, but in other respects very good. Now I just need to sell my car - anyone want a 1993 190E?
