Hello all,

Needing to batch convert a bunch of Word documents.
Have come across countless articles/posts explaining how to set up a simple Automator workflow, to have it done quickly.

Thing is - the step that I need to include >> Convert Format of Word Document is not available as an option my side.

So, since the most recent of those articles/posts date back to 2014, this option has either been removed by:
a.) El Capitan or
b.) Word 2016 for Mac

OR, my having Parallels 9 running Word 2010 in Confluence(?) mode, is messing with Automator's head (on my side) - and is the root of the problem...

Could someone who has MS Word 2016 for Mac (and is NOT running Parallels in Confluence(?) mode) please open up Automator, and check if the Convert Format of Word Document option is available?

Many thanks!

Must be Microsoft. On Yosemite I have it, but have an older version of Office. In Automator I see "Copyright © 2010 Microsoft Corporation". From a quick look around I get the impression Microsoft has stopped providing them.

Appreciate it. That blows. Will see what I can find on the web i.t.o. a replacement. Thanks again.
