Just found out that Autopage's 24 month contracts are in reality 25 month ones!

Their contract mentions:
"2.1 This agreement shall continue for a minimum period of 24 (twenty four) months reckoned from the date of acceptance hereof by Autopage ("the initial period") and thereafter shall continue indefinitely unless terminated by either party by the giving of 1 (one) month written notice of termination. Such notice of termination ("the notice period") shall not be given prior to the expiry of the initial period which notice will be effective from the first day of the next calendar month."

which effectively means you are bound to them for the 25th month.
Thats not the worst part.

What's worse is that the subscription for that month will not be the discounted rate you paid all along, but their full rate, which is more than
R100!!

If u have one of the R10 subscriptions that were so common two years ago, you gona be paying 10 times more for this one month!

See the following links, where this is discussed:

Bear this in mind before making the mistake of taking out a contract with them.

Used them for my very first contract many years ago and never again. I wouldn't even consider them.

I was with them for 6 years and didn't renew again this year. Having to change my number was a small price to pay for being shot of them.

Not one single person that I have come into contact with and who is / was with Autopage has a good word to say about them.

Yup, i had 3 of those contracts and got caught the same way, for the 24 and 25 months they charged me full price, never going to deal with them again
