Autopage telemarket saleman

I got a call the other day from a rude guy claiming to be from Autopage cellular offering me a deal on a CellC "contract". He was very nice explaining that this contract, which isn't actually a contract, is the best thing every cause you only pay for the airtime. After questioning him about the fact that you pay a fixed amount per month, which in my opinion is called a contract, he very rudely decided to hang-up and probably bug someone else with this super special contract which isn't a contract.

Plus the whole deal sounded so dodgy, has anyone else gotten a similar call lately?

He probably wanted to get my credit details right there and then

Dude, thats Autuw@nk for you. This is the reason why after 8yrs I'm leaving them.

When I complained on Hello Peter about their accounting system after not getting a response from Autow@nkers after 1yr - there accounts lady shouted at me, calling me a liar (I wish I had recorded that conversation). Then, she had a letter of demand that if I do not pay my account (R105) I will be summonsed for R5000 within 7 days.

The joke here is I complained that I could never figure out how much I needed to pay. Losers.
