Is it just me, or does Autopage seem to be out of touch with the handset prices for upgrades.
Galaxy S2, on a R315pm contract (talk 130) and they want almost R1000 cash pay in.
just skimming over there price list, and all their prices look crazy.

Vodacom sp, and nashua mobile are giving the same hndsets away for free.
Anyone else noticed this?

Boo hoo. Having monitored it for a while I can tell it was around November 2011 - January 2012 that their upgrades started to really suck compared to what was being offered direct from the network. They have some decent deals with the new contracts, you will notice that it is a LOT cheaper to take a new contract with them than upgrade to the same deal.

I took a phone last year for my brother as a new contract, it was R50/month cheaper than the upgrade for the same phone/airtime. And I cancelled my package, it took over 89 days for them to get that cancellation done.

I don't think Autopage is out of touch, just that they know that there are a lot of mugs out there, and a lot of lazy customers. Pay attention and do your homework first if you want value for money.

Yea Autopage wanted to me to upgrade their contract with them but then I looked and saw that it would be cheaper for me to get a new contract rather than upgrade!

So I told them to take a hike. Cell C prepaid for me. :D

Just promise me you wont use Autopage! It took them two months to port my number after I had to pay to speak to their customer "service" line.

Cancelled my Autopage contract today after I very nearly sucker punched myself into another *****ty upgrade package ... thank Zeus I came to my senses!

tempted to tell them where to stick it. but the 20% discount through Discovery Vitality makes me a sucker for punishment

i also didn't upgrade on autopage due to this reason.
when i phoned to cancel the contract i clearly told them to put my number on prepaid, they than proceded to totally disconnect my number.

i had to go to hellopeter to get my number re activated.

autopage wont see me again, im sticking to prepaid from now on, where i can switch networks as i please.
